Liv Morgan Cost Raquel Rodriguez the Title | Raw Fallout Review

0:00 Did Liv Morgan just cause Raquel Rodriguez the World championship because Raquel told Liv she wanted to win on her own? Liv came back out anyway, and that distraction was all definitely for care needed to take advantage. And then, And then Liv immediately capitalized by hitting the oblivion on an exhausted champion and staking her claim. So now the question isn't whether Liv is going to WrestleMania. The question is, what does Raquel do now? And somehow in all of this, Dominic Mysterio finally returns and barely matters. So welcome. Welcome. My name is Writer Maven. 0:58 This Monday Night Raw review was entitled. Was it an accident or accidentally on purpose? As a Raquel Rodriguez fan, I am extremely pissed off on her behalf. Tonight. We could have had a Raquel Rodriguez win the Woman's World Championship and set up a real emotionally charged viewed heading into WrestleMania against Liv Morgan. Instead, we're heading toward Liv Morgan versus Stephanie Vercure, which, no shade, feels heatless and dry as fuck. And the worst part? This doesn't meaningfully advance the Jesmit Day storyline. If anything is delayed, it possibly past WrestleMania. And yes, we'll talk about Dom too because his big return amounted to about 5 minutes of nothing.

1:44 But let's get started showing pre raw observations. Judgment Day is shown on the back of a production truck. We see Finn, Diddy, Roxanne and Raquel. There was no Dom, no live. People are saying this means separation, but remember last year Dom and Liv had their own production trucks. Two production trucks actually, and they were still in the judgment day. Finn was also on trucks before. There have always been some kind of highlight of production trucks featuring different people. Just because umm, Dom and Lib on on this particular production truck doesn't mean they're not going to be on others. And it eats.

2:27 It remains to be seen if they're going to be together on a production check truck like last year or separated. Because right now Liz is a Royal Rumble winner. She might have her own production truck, something to keep an eye on. But don't just, you know, feed into the the thinking that just because Liv and Dom aren't a part of Jesmond Day on this particular production truck means that they're separating from Jesmond Day. I mean, they might, but that's not an indication of everything. Let's go ahead and get it into Raw. First up, we had Finn Balor's promo. Finn has a nice video promo he cut and it's like he cuts a fire promo if Intense is focused and he's grounded in his motivation.

3:14 He talking about respect, how he gets respect. But now he just seems like he has to be the bad guy to get anything done, get anything on his own. And he says that he's coming in for CM Punk in the World Championship. And this is not a fully heel promo, nor is it a fully faced promo. He's just driven. He's kind of square in the middle, kind of like a tweeter almost. But it's not like he's leaning heel and it's not like he's leaning face. It's just a nice, really good fire promo. It's just this is a promo that shows that Finn is reminding everyone who he is. He's the Prince, he is the demon. And I loved it, but unfortunately you can always, you can feel the WWE energy shifting towards Punk versus Roman, which I will talk about, which makes Finn feel like he's just going to be a stop gap between the eventual Finn and Roman Reigns feud for WrestleMania.

4:06 Next up we have a Lib and dump segment. Dominic Mysterio finally returns from his injury and he looks good. He gets a dirty dump chant, introduces Liv as the World Rumble winner, his Garita, and that's about it. Will comes out and says that she's going to wait before choosing her WrestleMania proma and then immediately brings out Raquel causing her sister and hype her up as a future champion. Realcom comes out looking incredible. Gear is leaning fully into the Big Sexy nickname. She is really channeling Kevin Nash here. And then Raquel says she only has one question and asked her why did you eliminate me? And live gaslights her as fuck, tells her that you know Raquel will win the upcoming title match. And Raquel is happy about this is still calling live sister. But she says something important. She says that she wants to win on her own. And he tells Liv to stay in the back. But no she said live not dumb live. Some notes from this little promo, because it does go straight into the the Raquel versus Stephanie match is that Louis was just gaslighting the fuck out of Raquel. I mean, I guess we're going to do this whole almost like Dom thing, but even Dom wasn't really gaslighting fan during this time.

5:25 This is more like little gaslighting Raquel. Don was actually pretty supportive of Raquel here. You know, he you know, Raquel went to give him a hug, which was nice. So we and I just noticed that, you know, you're not seeing something where if you feel like somebody is shifting away from you that you would know you'd be like standoffish or something like that. I didn't get that from Dom at least going towards Raquel right now and Dom himself during this whole time, I just felt like he was there only to hype live. And I do have a problem with that because I don't like Dom in this role. He's going back into that boyfriend role. Maria and I will talk about that a little bit.

6:09 Then we're up with the Raquel Rodriguez versus standing for care for the women's world title. This was a great hard hitting match. Raquel targeted Stephanie's ankle weapons were used to pace. It was solid. The finish comes with Bill comes out to to ham Raquel the title. That distraction let's Stephanie Dr. Raquel into the ring post parks and comes out tries to help and get shoved through the table. She takes this table spot and just kind of like it shoved off the ring pose onto the table that's was set up on the ground there. Raquel recovers briefly, goes for a powerbomb off the turnbuckle, but Stephanie counter sitting Raquel through the table and then Stephanie hits the startle tab and Stephanie wins.

6:50 After the Mets, Liv hits the oblivion on Stephanie and holds up the title, seemingly making her choice. My issues with this, I hate Stephanie overcoming the odds of Raquel. I don't like it when we have it where we've been having the face been beat down so long. It's a Cody Rhodes thing where the face gets beat down so much and then they automatically recover just to win. I don't like that, you know, just Raquel is looking good. She's looking strong and then Stephanie kind of recovers in towards the end just to get the win. I know she Raquel was distracted by live here, but still I don't like that out of recovery. Raquel looks weak for falling again, like she's gone through three losses now and looks weak as fuck because she can't win the win big one.

7:36 And that's that Drew McIntyre situation I was talking about Raquel takes a tape, not Raquel Brooks and takes this table spot and was immediately forgotten about. She takes that spot. You can barely see it on TV and she was gone. We have kind of costing Raquel doesn't help Raquel story. It doesn't advance it significantly. It's not something where Raquel can be really, really mad about, nor is it enough where will is you know where it can establish Raquel for future few future storyline or whatever. It's it doesn't help it enough going into this we have after this is CM Punk and the Roman Romans Pomo. I was ignoring this because it's CM Punk and roll amaze. I know that they were just going to talk shit to each other back and forth.

8:23 The only time I'm the only time I'm mentioning it now and why I'm mentioning it now is because Punk did take the time to talk shit about Finn in the middle of his promo against Roman Reigns. So I did like that. Like he wasn't overlooking been here. He took time out of that promo back and forth with Roller Ray to talk shit to to you for the Lord, and that's good. But let's be real, Finn is probably still going to lose this feud. So you got CM Punk and Roman Reigns getting set up for WrestleMania and Finn is trying to shoot his shot but he's getting over. You know he's going to get lost in all the hype between CM Punk and Roman Reigns and I'll get into that later too. Some Raw quick pics before I get into some thoughts. Braun Breaker throws A tantrum at the start of Raw. Adam Pierce cooked them on the mic saying that he's going to allow Braun Breaker to stay on Raw after that, his poor performance at the Royal Rumble.

9:23 I cackled heartily at that because Braun Breaker was just. He was just so livid he tried to go after Adam Pierce. He falls and stumbles trying to get through the future WWS to get to Adam Pierce. And then this is where Ellen Knight comes to the crowd and attacks division with the chair before taking off again. Yvonne Evans beats El Grande Americano after El Grande Americano Original causes a distraction and gets El Gande Americano pinned and say that three times fast. Gunther mocked AJ Styles after he retired him. Gun Dragon Lee steps up to defend Uncle Alan's honor and gets choked out for his efforts over Family Debut and destroys the War Raiders and they say that he's a free agent so he hasn't been signed to Raw or Smack Down just yet. Pinta beat Bronson Reed by Cantel after LA Knight comes back again after Adam Pierce said that he has sent him home, he attacks Bronson.

10:24 I think it did BFT hit. He hits that on Bronson Reed on the chair on the outside where it made it where Bronson Reed gets counted out because he couldn't get it back in the ring and Pinta wins. So that's that. Here are the my raw thoughts over the night. I genuinely feel really, really bad for Raquel. This is why I say I cover all the things. Just my day. I'm just not covering things just for live. I'm not covering things just for Dom. Even though Dom is my brother die and I love him to death. I care about all the people of Desmond Day. And so here I'm feeling really sorry for Raquel. Unlike Finn, who can vivid into a face term just because of how he's been booked recently, Raquel has no sympathy booking to make her a face or killer heal bookie to make her a heal. She just kind of there.

11:12 She just made to look like an idiot and made to look like a chump so Liv can get into this child match, what she was going to get, but Raquel has nothing to show for it now. So what does Raquel do now? Because every path that I see for Raquel ends up in some kind of loss if he enters the Elimination Chamber and wins because AAA says that is changed in the winter, can choose whichever champion. So it's not like restricted to the other person. Other title belt now is just open for everybody. If she wins the Elimination Chamber, she probably ends eats the pen at WrestleMania. If they make it a triple dirt match between her, Liv and Stephanie.

11:53 If she challenges Liv after WrestleMania, which will it be extending this feud for the longest time? Champions rarely lose their first offense, so if Liv wins at WrestleMania and Raquel is the first defense after it, she's not going to win there. If she fused with Liv now, like say she decides to break free of Judgment Day and start feuding with Liv now, she'll probably lose here. The only option I see for Raquel is her costing Liv at WrestleMania so they could continue to feud without the title, but I don't see that how that's going to happen. Like that's the only thing where I can see is like, Liv talks all the shit, she gets into the feud with Stephanie and she gets all the way down to WrestleMania and that's when Raquel decides to cost her and then so they can start their feud.

12:45 But then why would you start that view with No title? You see what I mean? It's like everything looks for a loss for Raquel and that's why I was pushing so hard for Raquel to win here because she could have this belt for a little bit. Stephanie would lose nothing. She was going to lose at WrestleMania anyway. So you know, what's the point? What you know, what would be the harm of Raquel holding the title for a little bit going into WrestleMania? And like I said, and I'll say what my whole chest a Liv versus Stephanie feud at at its core right now, it will be dry as fuck and bland as fuck and heatless as fuck. There's no storyline there. There's no feud, there's no history. What is she going?

13:26 What does Liv want to say? I am the greatest of all time. And then we got to listen to Stephanie with her English, her limited English skills because she's improving, but it's still limited. Trying to make a few. This is the problem that Eel Sky had with the Bianca and Rea and Eel feud last year. Even though the even though the match was straight fire and it was great. I'm not discounting the match. The leading up to it. The leading up to the feud was was limited on Eels side because you can only say so much. So what does what does Raquel do? That brings me to Dom. Dom returns from injury and talks about for talks for 5 minutes. That's it.

14:10 He should have been checking fan for letting Punk call him garbage. He could have confronted Lib a little bit, maybe softer, you know, asking why she didn't check then for allowing Punk to call him garbage. He should have been starting something for himself, to establish himself, post his injuries, establish his direction. Instead, everything he did tonight benefited Liv. He slipped back into the boyfriend role that he had with Bria, and I'm not into it. And then there's poor Roxanne. Roxanne again disappears. She takes the stables table spot that you could barely see on TV. And then there's nothing. Her story needs to start immediately. Throw her into the icy title picture. Do something.

14:53 If you're going to be with Dom, be with Dom. I don't know, I don't care. She needs to do something. This is very worrying that she's just doing these little bit parts when when she could be doing so much more. What's up next for the judgement Day? Dom defends the AAA Mega champions that red, the Reds. If he wins, he probably will view with the Grande Americano. If he loses to Vikingo, Vikingo will view with El Grande Americano. But on Monday Night Raw, we need the clubhouse seems to return, We need real conflict between Liv and Raquel, and it needs to significantly advance Finn and Dom finally interacting and Roxanne Story to actually begin. The gaslighting era needs to end. Like we've been through this, we've been through it for a year. Things need to significantly advance and Finn needs to be taken as a significant threat because he shouldn't be just a stopgap for CM Punk, but I feel that that's just going to happen for him and that's withdraw.
